QuickInstaller Maker (QIM) is distributed as SHAREWARE: if you use it you should pay the author.
A Registration Form is available inside QIM. You may register QIM by sending the requested fee in US dollars (or an equivalent amount of your local currency) to the author at the address above.
Please, please, no checks: to cash them I must pay the bank more than $15!!!!! if you want to pay, in any case, by using checks, the requested price increases by $15.
I will trash, without reply, any check without the $15 contribution.

Licence and cost.
QIM has three kind of licence:
1) Personal use. $15: Installers distribution is limited to your family, your friends, your classroom and so on. No magazines, Internet or other public distribution. You may, anyway, distribute to extern world (magazines, Internet and so on…) compressed archives, self-extracting compressed archives, BinHex/MacBinary files and QIMDocuments.
2) Shareware-Freeware distribution. $50: Public Installers distribution is limited to Shareware or Freeware products. No restrictions for compressed archives, self-extracting compressed archive, BinHex/MacBinary file and QIMDocuments distribution.
3) Commercial distribution. $100: No restrictions exists.
you may freely include QIMExtractor, distributing compressed archives, BinHex/MacBinary file or QIMDocuments (see QIMExtractor documentation)
note: "Personal use", "Shareware-Freeware distribution" or "Commercial distribution" are the only three kind of suitable licence (one of three sentences will appear as registration info, after registering) so , please, don't present different request.
Be careful: although the usual interface, QIM 1.2.x version is a completely new application, incompatible with 1.1.0 and 1.0.0 releases. Since the new licence strategy, starting from version 1.2.0, QIM uses a new serial number scheme. Old users may contact me, whether they want to purchase the upgrade.
The unregistered version.
The unregistered version of QIM is fully operational, but will always show its "about" box when you open it, similarly does Built Installers. When you register QIM the irritating "about" box doesn't appear and the "unregistered" notice will be replaced by the registration information.
Notice: soon after registering, you will receive the serial number via e-mail.
QIM 1.2.2 can also be included, without my previous permission, without changes and with its documentation, in all CD-ROM or disk shareware collections and in all CD-ROM or Disk magazines (anyway an e-mail or a notice will be welcome, as well as a copy of the magazine or media.
QIM 1.2.2 may not be included in a commercial package without my permission.
